Author
Ben Pogue had a career as a marketing executive. He also published a historical novel, In the Shadow of the Songbird, and has now turned his attention to writing children's literature. Ben, and his wife, Jerri, live in Charleston SC and are avid hikers, sailors, and seaside explorers. With the publication of A Walk Along the Sea, Ben has begun to formally document one of nature's important stories for future generations.
Illustrator
Johanna Hughes has a passion for teaching and creating art. A Walk Along the Sea is the second book she has illustrated. She also illustrated Chip and Birdie Tee O. Johanna is a graduate of the College of Charleston and resides in Charleston SC with her family.
