Authors & Photography

Janet Garrity Saucier. Spending summers at her family camp in the Adirondack Mountains of New York since birth, the sense of home was immediate when she first visited the Blue Ridge Mountains. Janet’s professional photography career began with her book “Goin’ Down the River, Fish Camps of the Sea Islands,” published with Lydia Inglett Ltd. Publishing/Starbooks in 2012 while Janet lived in Beaufort, SC.

Les Saucier has been a professional photographer for more than thirty years and a teacher of nature photography. Les became a permanent resident twenty years ago. Now living in Brevard, NC with his wife, Janet Garrity Saucier, Les, who also has a masters in field biology, teaches many of his photography workshops right in his “backyard.”
